A history of Old Gilead / Grand Rapids and Providence, and information on many topics, including local government, the bridge, mills, canals, parks, railroad, utilities, public services, doctors, schools, hotels, businesses, agriculture, churches, organizations, fires, and floods.  The book includes photographs, maps, and recollections of older residents.


In 1978, Weston Public Library added a Branch Library in Grand Rapids. This branch houses a local history collection that includes:
